Greg Corcoran is a European and UK Patent Attorney, and UPC Representative.  He spent many years in house at a leading Dutch semiconductor equipment supplier.  There he developed and improved patent portfolios in view of existing licences, and in preparation of cross-license renegotiation that concluded after multi-jurisdictional litigation.

He founded Greg Corcoran IP in March 2025 as a general patent attorney practice and to make his experience available to a broad range of clients, such as in strategic portfolio management, portfolio improvement and risk review, all of which has increased relevance in view of the impact the UPC.  He has a flexible approach in assisting his clients e.g. in fractional in-house functions or as a consultant to leading IP firms.  His practice covers a broad variety of technologies and the full patent lifecycle from invention identification to litigation and licensing support.

He is also an active writer having had several recent publications on legal matters and practical approaches to practice.
