Katy is part of the Oncology R&D Academic Partnerships group at AstraZeneca, where she leads the teams responsible for both negotiating collaboration agreements and project & portfolio management. Her work enables strategic partnerships with academic institutions worldwide, accelerating innovation in oncology research and supporting AZ’s mission to deliver life-changing medicines.

With over 17 years of experience in technology transfer and negotiating agreements between academia and industry, Katy previously headed the commercialisation company of the Babraham Institute. She holds a Ph.D. in molecular biology from the John Innes Centre and an undergraduate degree from the University of Oxford. Katy currently serves on AUTM’s Industry Advisory Group.
