Rose’s practice covers both litigation and non-contentious matters, spanning the full range of intellectual property rights. Her clients span a wide range of sectors, but Rose has particular strengths in retail and FMCG; education and public sector; charities; technology and manufacturing.

Rose’s litigation experience covers disputes in various specialist forums in the UK, including courts (Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, High Court and Court of Appeal) as well as the Intellectual Property Office, the Company Names Tribunal and various domain name dispute resolution forums. She advises on issues such as ownership, subsistence and validity, infringement and defences. Rose is adept at alternative dispute resolution, successfully resolving claims for clients.

Rose also advises on transactional matters involving intellectual property – including acquisitions and sales, licences, research and development agreements, and sponsorship and promotional arrangements. Rose also acts as a consultant on the effective management and exploitation of intellectual property portfolios.

Rose studied at the University of Oxford, at undergraduate level for a degree in Jurisprudence, and later for a Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice. Rose is a Co-Chair for Young Members for the Licensing Executives Society Britain & Ireland Council.
