Michelle is a Partner in the Intellectual Property Practice Group of Shearn Delamore & Co., with a practice centred on IP litigation involving trademarks, copyright, designs, passing off, geographical indications, trade secrets and patent disputes, across a broad range of industries including the pharmaceutical, life sciences and medical device sectors, food and beverages (FCMG), oil palm as well as insurance, including matters before the Federal Court. She also advises on regulatory and prosecution matters, IP enforcement and commercialisation, commercial and technology-related agreements, domain name disputes, franchising compliance, gaming, food regulations and personal data protection.

Michelle was called to the Malaysian Bar in Aug 2004. She is the Past President of the Licensing Executives Society of Malaysia, the Malaysian Bar Council Advocacy Training Course trainer, an active member of the Bar Council’s IP Committee, and a contributor to leading regional IP and franchising publications. She recently co-authored the patent litigation chapter of the “Law and Practice of Intellectual Property Law in Malaysia
