Bita Mortazavi is Vice President and Head of Patent Analysis and MedTech Strategy at RPX Corporation. She leads global patent analysis efforts and advises clients on high-stakes IP matters, helping them mitigate patent risk through strategic IP analysis and licensing approaches. She brings particular expertise in cellular, Wi-Fi, and standard essential patents, and plays a key role in expanding RPX’s strategy into the medical technology sector.

Before joining RPX, Bita held senior technical and architecture roles at Verizon Wireless, where she contributed to network performance, device certification, and enterprise solutions across 3G and 4G LTE platforms.

She earned an M.S. in Computer Science and Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tehran, and is a registered U.S. patent agent.
