Dr Samantha Williams, RTTP began her career as a research scientist within industry at Unilever Research after completing a D.Phil. in Biochemistry at the University of Oxford. She then joined the Medical Research Council’s Technology Transfer Group based in London and now has over 20 years’ experience in both the UK and Ireland in the successful commercialisation of intellectual property arising in the academic sector. She has been Licensing Manager within Trinity College Dublin, since 2017 and is responsible for managing Trinity’s existing intellectual property licence agreements and negotiating new licences to established companies and to Trinity’s growing and successful portfolio of spin-out companies.
