Mark is the Managing Partner of Anderson Law LLP, a boutique law firm based near Oxford, UK, that specialises in IP transactions. His clients include life science and technology companies, as well as leading universities. He started his firm in 1994, after a decade as an in-house lawyer and then a solicitor with Bristows in London. He is a CLP and RTTP, and an honorary professor at UCL. He is an author or editor of published template agreements, and textbooks on IP and commercial law subjects, as well as several articles in Les Nouvelles. He is the designer and convenor of an annual, one-week course on IP Transactions that is run through the UCL Faculty of Laws with about 30 volunteer speakers. His blog, www.ipdraughts.wordpress.com, has been viewed over one million times and won an ABA Blawg100 award. He is a director and trustee of the Incorporated Council of Law Reporting for England and Wales.
