Erika Jiménez Leube is a Spanish-qualified lawyer with over 20 years of international experience in licensing, intellectual property, data, and compliance across high-tech, telecommunications, and automotive sectors in Spain and the Netherlands. She holds a Law degree (LL.B.) from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, a Master’s degree from ESADE, a joint professional certificate from ESADE and MIT Professional Education, and a Diploma from CEIPI.

She has developed her career in multinational organizations such as ASML, Signify, Sisvel, and Fluidra, working on patent licensing (SEP and non-SEP), cross-border collaborations, and multi-jurisdictional matters including litigation. Her experience focuses on advising business teams on intellectual property and data-related matters , as well as the development of internal policies and governance frameworks in areas such as data, AI, and open-source, aligning legal considerations with business and innovation objectives.

She currently serves as Compliance Manager at Grupo Chery (automotive) in Europe, where she also supports intellectual property-related matters within the broader compliance framework across multiple European jurisdictions.

She is President of LES Spain & Portugal, a member of the Barcelona Bar Association, and Director of the Master’s Degree in IP at PONS Escuela de Negocios in collaboration with ISDE. She has also contributed as a lecturer in executive programs at ESADE and MIT Professional Education.

She has participated as a speaker at international forums such as World Intellectual Property Organization (Montevideo, 2025) and YMC- LESI (Lisbon, 2025), focusing on IP strategy, data and AI governance, compliance, and legal innovation. She was recognized among the Powerful Women in IP (WIPF 2021).
